    These hand-forged, hand-carved knives reflect a knife making tradition that has survived for millennia in Tajikistan. They are lovingly crafted by Master Ibrokhim Mirzoev of Istaravshan, Tajikistan. Designed for use, they are also a beautiful art form that reflects the Persian traditions out of which they sprang. Istaravshan, which recently celebrated its 2500 year anniversary, was one on the key stops along the Great Silk Road.
